About us
The London Business School Energy Club represents over over 1500 student members and alumni, who are interested in all aspects of the energy sector. Energy Club members include individuals from upstream and downstream sectors of oil and gas, power, utilities, the emerging renewable energy sector, and banking and consulting. We act as an interface between the industry and alumni communities, and the London Business School student body.
The principal objectives of the Energy Club are:
Education - Provide background and firm understanding of all areas encompassing the energy sector
Awareness - Provide a forum for students, alumni, and industry representatives to meet and explore pressing issues in the energy sector
Career - Assist students in finding positions in the energy sector and companies to find highly qualified employees. Each year, the club runs events for students, alumni, and members of the energy industry. These events include speakers, career forums, site visits, social events, and The Global Energy Summit.
The Energy Club is a member of the Collegiate Energy Assocation (www.collegeenergy.org), an affiliation of Energy Clubs at the world's top schools and universities."
